DANCE IMPACT PRGM

Positive Energy Arts in partnership with the York City School District has launched a Pilot Program to explore Alternative Learning Opportunities for students who would otherwise not have access. The D.I.P. Program provides 4th & 5th graders with 10 weeks of Dance Classes that will substitute their gym class and count towards their physical education credits. Our goals are to improve physical fitness, attendance, participation, and overall mood/morale of the student body. Our belief is that Dance is the perfect tool to encourage student retention and prevention amongst Middle School aged youth.
