Classes on Zoom

While the world is still learning, working, and playing from home, we know connection is more important now than ever before.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our mission in 2021 is to engage, enrich, and inspire our students from home. Though we may be apart, we can all still feel safe and connected to each other and to the arts.

Each season, we will partner with 3-4 teaching artists to offer 6 to 10 weeks of virtual programming that provide a variety of dance and movement arts experiences to students countywide in grades K-8.

Join us as we help students build confidence in themselves and their abilities through movement and creative expression.

Musical Theater Dance

Instructor: Donna Lynch

Students will tackle the basics of musical theater jazz choreography, and develop a strong foundation of movement to be used in high school musicals, professional theater shows, and more! This series is specifically designed for students with little or no previous dance experience who want to move more confidently and have a great time dancing. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and stretching, as well as footwear appropriate for your home surface.

4th-5th Grade Wednesday Class

Dates: April 21st-May 26th

Time: 5:00pm-6:00pm

Cost: $30 per participant

Children's Movement Circus

Instructor: Brianna Schunk

Children's Movement Circus is an after-school dance program for grades K-3rd. Through circus-themed movement, rigorous exercise, ad team building activities, we will improve motor skills, discipline, leadership, self confidence, and responsibility. Students gain an understanding of performance quality (how you do it), energy manipulation, and the importance of self expression. 

6th-8th Grade Wednesday Class

Dates: April 21st-May 26th

Time: 6:00pm-7:00pm

Cost: $30 per participant

K-3rd Grade Wednesday Class

Dates: April 21st-June 9th

Time: 3:30pm-4:15pm

Cost: $30 per participant

All classes are priced at $30. This form will only allow you to sign up for one class at a time. If you would like to sign up for more than one class, you can fill out this form again immediately after submitting.

Each student will receive a Class Kit containing a PEA sticker, a PEA rubber wristband, a class information sheet, and a Personal Lightbulb Statement worksheet.
