Co-Founder & Artistic Director
Thomas K. Flagg has served over 40 years as a Dance & Arts Entertainment producer, promoter, manager, and advocate, which has endowed him with a multi-faceted understanding of the entertainment industry. Flagg has produced benefits for such organizations as the New York City Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Dance New Amsterdam, and The Isadorables. He has provided support for local arts venues in and around his home in Central NJ, including the Delaware Valley Center for the Performing Arts, and the Bucks County Center for the Performing Arts in an effort to further homegrown arts ventures in local communities.
In 2012, Flagg became Co-founder along with William (Bill) Shipley of Shipley Energy, in response to the eradication of arts programming in schools in the Harrisburg Area School District. Their vision was to use Bill Shipley's local resources and Flagg's connection to high level arts educators, performers to begin subsidizing arts education programs within the district so that no child would have to go without Arts. Now with 5 years served in the Harrisburg School District, Positive Energy Arts has set its focus on York, PA to do the same. Thomas now works on identifying and cultivating local artists, getting them access to exceptional teacher training and support, who in turn become the paid teaching artists, staff, and ambassadors of PEA that help us continuously carry out our mission.
Digital Marketing Associate
Allison Rambler is a content creator, photographer, multimedia editor, and actor in the Central PA area. She graduated from Penn State University in 2020 (in her living room--thanks, COVID) with a degree in Photojournalism and a minor in Theatre, and has served in social media/content marketing internships with The JDK Group in Camp Hill, PA and Hayman Studio in York, PA. When not creating a variety of content for the fine folks of Positive Energy Arts, Allison can be found taking photos of her friends, family, and clients of Rambler Reels Photography, editing videos, or participating in any kind of theatre endeavor she can. Allison has been in 40+ theatrical productions over the years and is now the Digital Coordinator at The Belmont Theatre in York, PA. While Allison considers herself a "mover" rather than a "dancer," she is incredibly excited to use her love of the performing arts and compelling content to help the children of York find their light and keep on dancing!
