"Creativity"
Each season Positive Energy Arts partners with 3-4 artists to offer a variety of dance and movement arts experiences to students countywide.
The 2021 Summer "Creativity" Series will include a set of 3 programs that engage all grade levels and introduce students to the theme of "Creativity" through arts and creative expression.
Students participating in the Summer Series will count towards Positive Energy Arts’ mission to serve 315 kids this year in the ongoing PEA315 Campaign.

Our free summer dance camp is back! Illstyle and Peace Productions will lead students in the basics of dance for 2 weeks. Students will perform for their family and friends on the last day of camp.
This is a free program open to ages 7-14.

Ommy, through the Positive Energy Arts team, invites children ages 1-7 to join her in a world of CREATIVITY through Literature, Movement, and Music at the Summer Series.
Ommy will use a read-aloud sound story and music to get children moving through creative expression and Positive Energy. Your child will leave with a new understanding of Literature, Art, and Physical Movement. In addition, they will carry away a new book and maracas to use and share their reading, music, and movement experience with you at home. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Kimberly H. Miller, favorably Known as Ommy, is an Author, Illustrator, Teacher, and Creator of the Children’s Educational Television Channel “Ommy’z World.”

Paint & Drip with Dizz

Join Positive Energy Arts in partnership with York County Parks and Recs for an outdoor painting lesson hosted by artist Duane "Dizz" Gavins. Participants age 7-14 will express their creativity through a guided canvas art project facilitated by Dizz and enjoy recreational activities, music, and light refreshments. All materials for the event (canvas, paintbrushes, paint, etc.) will be provided for each student registered.
Students 7-14 are invited from 12:00-1:30, students 15-18 are invited from 2:00-3:30.
*Please wear clothes you will not mind getting paint on!*
